Canon PIXMA G5020 Manual (User and Getting Started Guide)

Download Canon PIXMA G5020 Manual – The Canon PIXMA G5020 is a cartridge-free color printer, Canon is now also involved in the ink tank printer segment. The printer comes with four ink tanks, which you can refill cost-effectively using refill packs. In this way, you can print several thousand pages of mixed text and graphics, but only pay a fraction for the ink as with conventional printers. The print image is impressively good: full-color photos are brilliantly reproduced, streak-free and the individual color areas are clearly separated from each other. For professional photos, more than these classic four-color tanks are missing, but in the home area, the quality should be more than convincing. It is a pity that the Canon prints very slowly, cannot scan or copy and the operation becomes a cramp due to the tiny display. The paper supply and, of course, the really low page prices, which a cartridge printer can never achieve, are now right for use in the home office. One shortcoming, however, is the working speed, which has improved Canon PIXMA G5020 compared to the first G generation but will not always be sufficient in the professional environment. The color prints are light, albeit slightly darker than the first generation. The contrast is right and gives prints on photo paper in particular a nice depth. Photos can be printed without borders – not every tank printer on the market can do that either. The improved black ink also benefits copy quality. At the same time, we see more details in difficult colors such as pastel shades. Thanks to positive developments such as increased paper supply, numerous connection options, and ample ink supply. When it comes to operation, Canon continues to rely on a monochrome display with two lines and graphic elements. Instead of on the top, this is now housed on a tiltable panel on the front – together with navigation buttons. The usual buttons for a B / W as well as a color copy should not be missing. Scans can only be sent directly from the device to a computer (with the software running). A USB stick or memory card cannot be plugged into the Canon PIXMA G5020 printer. in addition to WLAN and USB, it has a LAN interface and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi Direct or Pictbridge WLAN. He is also proficient in many types of mobile printing such as Apple Airprint, Mopria (Android), GoogleCloud Print, or printing via the manufacturer’s app “Canon Print”.
