The Canon iR ADV DX 8705i series further complements the transition to the DX models and thus replaces the previous models. This new series is definitely in the high-performance office segment with up to 105 pages per minute. The systems are available as a pure printing system and as a multifunction system, including the new high-performance scanner from Canon, which processes up to 270 images per minute. Furthermore, the systems contain the well-known features of the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 8705i in terms of security and can therefore also be easily integrated into the existing infrastructure with corresponding document management workflows. The control panel is now a full touch screen. The keypad, which is still known from the GEN3 systems, is therefore eliminated.

Installation procedure on Windows: The printer requires the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 8705i Driver and software files. Download the driver and connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. Then follow the instructions on how to install the printer driver in the installation window.
Installation procedure on macOS: Download the file and mount the disk image (if available). When you open the installer file in the folder, the installation will start automatically. When you’re done, connect your printer and you’re ready to use your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 8705i printer.
