This Canon PIXMA G4210 inkjet multifunction device makes up for the lack of convenience through the economical operation of refillable paint containers. the handling when refilling the ink tanks should have improved in the first place. The technical performance is more suitable for colour document printing than for photo printing. The performance is sufficient for a rather low workload in a private office or in a manageable business environment. The printing mechanism prints up to 8.8 black and white but only five colour pages per minute at a leisurely pace. Features such as a maximum resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi and ink drops with a volume of 2.0 picoliters support document printing with graphic elements. The combination of the dye inks cyan, magenta and yellow with pigment black also ensures a high-contrast image when printing monochrome documents. A single-sided document feeder for 20 sheets is part of the equipment for reading in the templates when scanning and copying. The connectivity includes a USB connection for the transmission of work orders from a single workstation and a WLAN connection for integration into the local network. An Ethernet interface for the LAN connection is not available. In the local environment, smartphones and tablets access the Canon PIXMA G4210 printer via WiFi Direct. Cloud services are responsible for communication on the go.
