This printer series from Canon is an inkjet multifunction printer that can be used for printing as well as for copying and scanning. Simply connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable and the device is ready to use. With the Canon PIXMA MG2560, you create high-quality prints with a resolution of up to 4,800 dpi. the printer also automatically prints on both sides, It prints up to 8 pages in black and white or four pages in colour per minute. You can manually set duplex printing to print on both sides of the paper. As for the type of paper, you can use regular paper, photo paper, and envelopes. However, the weight of the paper should be between 64 and 105 g/m². The manufacturer’s XL cartridges are recommended for frequent printing, as they offer significantly better value for money. The Canon PIXMA MG2560 belongs to Canon’s photo-oriented Pixma product range, but with the exception of the good print resolution, it does not have any special photo printing talents.

Just downloaded full printer MG2560 package for Mac. However, my MacOS is Ventura and it won’t set up. Is there a workaround as I need the printer for my work. Thanks.
install the full driver or CUPS driver, then, try to add the MG2560 (MG2500 series) printer from macOS preferences.
