For printing documents and text, the Canon PIXMA MG2920 is reasonably good, but you have to accept limitations like the ink takes some time to dry and the bottom edge is cut off very high, which means you may need more sheets. In addition, it is relatively loud. The photo print quality is okay, but you can only print on photo paper up to 10 x 15 cm with the device. Unfortunately, DIN A4 printing on photo paper and borderless printing is not possible. As a pure photo printer, it is therefore hardly usable. Also when copying, the bottom margin is cut off too far up. The quality is okay, although not quite true to the original for color copies. You also have to have a little patience for scanning and copying with the Pixma. A new set of original cartridges costs almost as much as the Canon PIXMA MG2920 printer itself. Accordingly, color printing is downright outrageously expensive. As with black and white printing, this is actually only acceptable if you really rarely print. Installation procedure on Windows: The printer requires the Canon PIXMA MG2920 Driver and software files. Download the driver and connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. Then follow the instructions on how to install the printer driver in the installation window.
Installation procedure on macOS: Download the file and mount the disk image (if available). When you open the installer file in the folder, the installation will start automatically. When you’re done, connect your printer and you’re ready to use your Canon PIXMA MG2920 printer.
