A decent multifunctional device belongs in every household. Be sure to stay away from cheap homes. The Canon PIXMA TS8220 cuts a fine figure right out of the box: Its dimensions of 37x30x62cm are comparatively compact, and the manufacturer has given the case a modern design. The device also has a large touchscreen with a display diagonal of 11 centimeters. The menu is simple and self-explanatory, making it easy to use. Processes such as scanning work so easily, open the lid, put the document on it, select Scan in the menu and go to PC, done. Photos and documents can also be stored on memory cards – a card reader is located on the front of the device at the bottom left. However, there is no automatic document feeder. Users have to pack each page individually onto the glass plate. To create a duplicate, however, users would simply have to tap Copy on the touchscreen. However, the Canon PIXMA TS8220 did not pull paper from the front cassette when copying. Instead, there had to be paper in the storage compartment at the top back. Only then did Canon print the copy. By the way, the connection works either via USB cable or wirelessly via WLAN. In addition to WiFi, it also has Bluetooth on board for quick printouts from a smartphone or tablet.
