The Canon imageCLASS MF264dw II is primarily intended for use in offices with smaller work groups. The printer uses laser printing technology and only prints in black and white. The printing speed is quite fast at 28 pages per minute. The print quality is also clean for documents. Thanks to the automatic feeder on the top, scans and copies are done quickly – unless the originals are printed on both sides. Manual turning is required for these due to the lack of an automatic duplex function. The optional high-capacity toners with a yield of 4,100 pages push the cost per page down, which means that the Canon imageCLASS MF264dw II can almost keep up with ink tank printers in terms of printing costs. The monochrome touch display facilitates operation directly on the device. The power consumption is low on standby, but quite high when printing due to the laser printer.
