The Canon PIXMA MG3620 is a multifunction device that can be used for scanning, copying and printing. The model uses inkjet technology. The relatively low acquisition costs and the usually very good quality when printing photos are positive while running costs, service life and printing speed is worse compared to laser printers. Therefore, products in this category are primarily suitable for household use. In addition to the usual duplex printing, the model supports some other useful functions, such as photo printing, text printing and borderless printing. The printer prints up to A4 format and achieves a resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi, which ensures that text and graphics are printed out with sufficient sharpness. Typical printing tasks can be handled quickly and easily with the model. The pull-out paper cassette for 100 sheets in A4, A5, B5, Legal and Letter sizes promises fast refilling. With the device, the printouts for black and white come at quite an acceptable speed of 10 pages/min. The printer prints up to 5 colored pages in one minute. The CIS flatbed scanner also offers the option of directly digitizing a document with a resolution of 1,200 x 2,400 dpi using the scan-to-cloud and scan-to-email functions. It can even be connected to a computer via a WLAN interface. The operating systems macOS and Windows are supported with Canon PIXMA MG3620 driver. Functions such as Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria, PictBridge and WiFi Direct are supported. Thanks to the Wi-Fi Direct mode, which creates an ad hoc network, no existing network, connection to the Internet or password is required.

Installation procedure on Windows: The printer requires the Canon PIXMA MG3620 Driver and software files. Download the driver and connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. Then follow the instructions on how to install the printer driver in the installation window.
