Entry-level black and white laser printer, intended for personal use, the Canon imageCLASS LBP6000 is mainly distinguished by its compactness. It also boasts low energy consumption, simple use, silent operation, and is even inaudible on standby. It will easily find its place anywhere. On the other hand, in so little space there are hardly any functionalities. The paper witness button does not seem very useful to us. To choose, we prefer the print cancellation key, which is more relevant. The printer can be configured to go into power save mode after a certain period of time without printing. It’s practical and simple to configure by following the procedure described on the installation CD. The print functions are pretty comprehensive: print output scaling, ink density adjustment, page layout, adding watermarks, setting certain data (name, date, etc.), adjusting image quality or grey levels, combining various data gathered on a single page, saving printing options. Under the hood is an all-in-one cartridge with toner, roller and cleaning units. As very often on compacts, there is only one standard capacity format. It is not possible to make extended capacities in such small machines. The starter cartridge, as too often, contains only half the ink, ie 700 pages instead of 1600 pages. In summary, Canon imageCLASS LBP6000 is a model that prints in black and white and that’s it. No Wi-Fi, duplex, or card reader. However, it is compatible with all operating systems.

Installation procedure on Windows: The printer requires the Canon imageCLASS LBP6000 Driver and software files. Download the driver and connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. Then follow the instructions on how to install the printer driver in the installation window.
