The Canon MAXIFY GX7021 is a 4-in-1 color inkjet printer that prints, scans, copies and faxes. The device is quite large but you only need the top and front so there are no frills on either side. The ink tanks on the front of the MAXIFY printer are immediately noticeable. Each colour has its own tank and through the viewing window, you can quickly see how much ink is left in the tank. When one of the colours is almost empty, refill it from one of the ink bottles. You open the flap and push the ink straight in. With the full ink tanks, you can easily print many thousands of pages. This makes the printer inexpensive. You put up to 50 sheets in the duplex automatic document feeder (DADF) so that the printer automatically scans or copies the entire batch double-sided in one go. The manufacturer specifies a speed of 24 black and white and 15.5 color A4 pages per minute for the printer (based on the ISO standard). This Canon printer uses special ink, which guarantees the quality of the printouts. The driver covers not only common operating systems such as Windows 10 or Mac OS X but also rarer variants such as Windows 10 S or ChromeOS for the Canon MAXIFY GX7021. You have a full selection of interfaces with Ethernet LAN, n-WLAN, Wi-Fi Direct and USB 2.0. Overall, it works well with good quality and feels solid. Clear, simple and easy to read display. Had some issues with scanning as this has to be done via the Canon app otherwise the quality is not good on a Mac and this wasn’t clear in the installation guide.

Installation procedure on Windows: The printer requires the Canon MAXIFY GX7021 Driver and software files. Download the driver and connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. Then follow the instructions on how to install the printer driver in the installation window.
Installation procedure on macOS: Download the file and mount the disk image (if available). When you open the installer file in the folder, the installation will start automatically. When you’re done, connect your printer and you’re ready to use your Canon MAXIFY GX7021 printer.
