The Canon PIXMA MG5660 is a multifunction printer. Besides the printing function, this device also offers a scanner, a copier and the ability to edit images directly with the installed Easy Photo Print+ program. Operate the printer via a 6.2 cm LCD in 30 languages. Paper sizes A4, A5, B5, letter, legal, envelopes and A6 are also available, the paper is fed from an integrated paper tray that can hold up to 100 sheets. The inkjet printer not only prints black but all colours. Thanks to the high print speed, printing in black only takes about 12.2 ISO pages per minute. In colour, a fast 8.7 ISO pages per minute is still enough. The resolution of the printed is razor-sharp at up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi and the scanner type is a photo/document flatbed scanner with a CIS sensor. A resolution of up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi can be achieved. For optimal scanning results, the template should not exceed DIN A4 format. with a colour depth internally 48 bits and externally 24 bits and grayscale are 16 bits internally and 8 bits externally. The scanner also includes a practical scan-to-email function. The integrated copier is also impressive with its speed. In black and white, up to 7.2 ISO pages per minute can be copied. There is a USB high-speed port at the back of the housing that allows printing directly from the USB stick. The Canon PIXMA MG5660 printer is also WLAN-capable. WEP64, WEP128, WPA (TKIP) and WPA2 (AES) ensure the security of the WLAN connection. It can be connected to mobile devices and cloud services. Mobile control is usually possible via the Android app, Windows RT app and iOS app. This Canon printer is also supported by the Canon PIXMA/MAXIFY Printing Solutions app.
