Installation procedure on Windows: The printer requires the Canon imageCLASS MF242dw Driver and software files. Download the driver and connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. Then follow the instructions on how to install the printer driver in the installation window.
Installation procedure on macOS: Download the file and mount the disk image (if available). When you open the installer file in the folder, the installation will start automatically. When you’re done, connect your printer and you’re ready to use your Canon imageCLASS MF242dw printer.
I’ve redownloaded the driver 3x on my Windows laptop but I still can’t get the printer to print consistently. It worked the first time I used it and once after I deleted the printer from my device but never again.
