The Canon imageFORMULA DR-M260 is designed for use in busy office environments and for a visible production increase in document capture without being dependent on a computer. With its compact design, low weight and space-saving footprint, this document scanner is not only easy to transport, but can also be set up anywhere and used, for example, on counters and desks to capture documents. Equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF) for up to 80 sheets and the newly developed Canon DR processor, the document scanner scores with high performance in scan processing. Not only does the scanner achieve a remarkable scanning speed of up to 60 pages per minute or 120 pages per minute in duplex mode, this series also delivers improved image processing and quality and, thanks to the latest DR processor-internal image processing technology, ensures consistent high-quality images and optical character recognition (OCR) results. Thanks to the technical and functional equipment, the Canon MR-260 is able to capture a large number of different originals, from business cards and receipts to forms and applications to documents of different thicknesses, types and lengths, with its robust document feeder. In addition, documents with a length of up to 5,588 mm can be scanned in long format mode. Particularly sensitive originals can even be drawn in via a carrier sheet and thus particularly carefully. The Canon imageFORMULA DR-M260 has a sensor to detect paper feed errors. The sensor reports documents that have been drawn in at an angle and immediately stops the paper feed to prevent damage to the template. For further document protection, a paper ejection sensor mounted on the front of the CIS camera sensors monitors the scanning process and reports unusual document throughput times.
