The Canon PIXMA iP2820 printer only processes standard paper in the formats A4, B5, A5, Letter and Legal as well as photo paper in the sizes 13 x 18 and 10 x 15 centimetres. A photo print on A4 paper is therefore unfortunately not possible. The printer’s paper tray holds up to 60 sheets of plain paper and 10 sheets of photo paper. According to the manufacturer, the Canon achieves a speed of around eight pages per minute when printing documents in black and white; in color mode, it is four pages. promises good monochrome and color prints in high resolution with the photo printer. However, this not only prints photo paper in a resolution of up to 4,800 x 600 dpi, but is also suitable for printing out conventional documents on standard paper up to DIN A4 format. The Canon FINE technology with its hybrid ink system ensures brilliance and richness of detail in text documents and images. The Canon PIXMA iP2820 is connected to the computer using a USB cable. Unfortunately, the connection via WLAN or via cable via the network is not provided. The supplied printer drivers must be installed on the computer for the smooth operation of the printer. Installation procedure on Windows: The printer requires the Canon PIXMA iP2820 Driver and software files. Download the driver and connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. Then follow the instructions on how to install the printer driver in the installation window.
Installation procedure on macOS: Download the file and mount the disk image (if available). When you open the installer file in the folder, the installation will start automatically. When you’re done, connect your printer and you’re ready to use your Canon PIXMA iP2820 printer.
