The Canon PIXMA MX479 is a multifunction printer including a fax machine. So a multi-talent for the home office or smaller offices. This printer is a multifunction device that combines a printer, fax, scanner and copier in one. It works with inkjet technology. The printing speed is up to 9.7 pages per minute with a resolution of up to 4,800 x 1,200 pixels. The scanning speed is a maximum of 15 seconds at a resolution of 1,200 x 2,400 dpi, with a color depth of up to 48 bits. The capacity of the Canon is 100 sheets plus 20 pages of photo paper. The supported paper formats are DIN A4, A5, A6 and DIN B5 and various sizes of envelopes. These are printer cartridges with an integrated print head. Therefore, only recycled printer cartridges are available in the alternative area. However, these all have an XL filling and can therefore be compared with the XL original cartridges in terms of page performance. A range of approx. 400 pages for the black ink cartridges and around 600 pages for the color cartridges is possible there. The Canon PIXMA MX479 is compatible with operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 8. The MAC OS X operating system is also partially supported. This multifunction device has a WLAN interface for wireless printing.
