I just purchased a Canon PIXMA TR4527 printer and having trouble setting up the printer.
When I turned on the printer, the following screen appeared, “Open the cover and 1890 Discard the material”.
I discarded all materials, but when I pressed the left and right curser button to select a language, the message continued to appear.
What am I doing wrong?
What does code 7800 mean
A two-cartridge printer type may display Error code 7800 on PIXMA TR4527 after replacing a cartridge or when an ink tank is empty. If you use outdated ink cartridges in brand-new printers, it could also occur.
What does Code 5804 mean? Something to do with ink heads full? Can I fix that myself.
please check the paper you used, usually, the error appears because the setting on your printer is not suitable for the paper that exists.
My TR4527 has worked flawlessly until I stupidly tried to print a Microsoft news article. It printed pages and pages until I shut the printer off. Now anything I tried to print is overwritten by parts of this article. I have tried a factory reset but no success, How can I get this article out of the printer’s memory?
hi, try to delete the printing queue, then try to shutdown the printer for at least 30 seconds to soft reset it. and try to use the printer again.
Thank you for your help, I did as you suggested but no difference. Print queue is empty and I had the printer unplugged for ten minutes but it still overwrites with that article. I am an electronics technician but do not have any manuals. The memory appears to be corrupted, how do I clear it?
