This printer is one of the cheapest multifunction printers with an ADF feeder. Thanks to this, scans and copies of several documents in one go can be processed quickly. However, the infeed only works on one side. Documents printed on both sides must be turned over manually. Furthermore, the standards of the printer include automatic duplex printing (A4) and a borderless printing function in the formats A4, 13×18 cm, 10×15 cm or 20×25 cm. The printing unit itself works slowly, but precisely. Automatic two-sided printing is also supported. With a speed of slow 8.8 ipm in B/W half strength (4.4 ipm) in colour mode in standard quality and plain paper, the Canon PIXMA HOME OFFICE TR4665 printer is based on the same print head cartridges. The supply of paper, which is only fed in from below in an open design, should be a little more user-friendly. The capacity is 100 sheets, correspondingly less when loaded with photo paper. The inkjet does not rely on ink tanks or a subscription model for ink. Instead, an old-fashioned two-cartridge system is used. Since all colour inks are combined in one cartridge, all colours have to be replaced as soon as one of the colours is used up – this is a problem, for example, if you print documents in a specific corporate design. This, combined with the high per-page cost, results in a high overall running cost, even though the Canon PIXMA HOME OFFICE TR4665’s power consumption is low. The printer is connected to the network via WLAN. The fax function can also be conveniently used with the supplied telephone cable.
